The Opportunity

Investment Operations at Netwealth has the following functional teams: Asset Administration, Corporate Actions, Domestic, International, Managed Accounts, QA Projects & Support, Tax and Asset Transfers. They are responsible for asset related processes across the Netwealth platform such as, corporate actions, in-specie transfers, international and domestic settlements, managed accounts processing, income processing, taxation, annual tax statements and asset administration. 

In the International team you will be responsible for: 

  • Placement of international trades with external brokers and settlement of trades via our sub-custodian. 

  • Processing trades to clients’ accounts. 

  • Liaising with our sub-custodian and brokers regarding trade and settlement issues. 

  • Processing of income and associated withholding tax. 

  • Processing international stock transfers. 

  • Completing daily reconciliations for all international transactions. 

  • Involvement with the implementation of new features, system enhancements, and controls relating to international securities.  

  • Review and process W-8 BEN forms. 

  • Administration of foreign currency accounts (settlements and income is conducted in several major foreign currencies as well as AUD). 

You have: 

  • Knowledge of financial services systems 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). 

  • A naturally customer/client focussed manner. 

  • Strong organisational skills. 

  • Sound problem solving and analysis skills. 

  • Experience within the finance industry is desirable. 

  • Experience with the completion of User Acceptance Testing for system upgrades and enhancements. 

  • The ability to respond to all queries in a timely and efficient manner. 

  • Experience in maintaining procedures for international administration functions. 

  • The drive to complete all responsibilities within SLA’s.

  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with a high level of attention to detail. 

  • Organised with strong time management skills. 

  • Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
