The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to join our high-performing sales and distribution team in QLD to work with existing clients and identify new clients to drive opportunities, grow market share, and achieve sales targets.
As Sales Director, you will be a key member of the Sales Leadership Team, shaping and influencing the broader sales strategy that is essential to driving the success and growth of our business.
With an established client portfolio and book of business, your role will be split across managing and servicing your existing client base and nurturing partner-driven relationships to promote Netwealth products and services.
Business development is a key focus. You will continuously build and expand your portfolio network, securing new business and managing sales pipelines to achieve targets.
Role responsibilities include;
- marketing Netwealth and its products to new and existing advisers
- Selling Netwealth products to advisor groups to assist in expanding the Netwealth business and its distribution network
- Meeting or exceeding your agreed budget
- Build, maintain, and foster relationships with the adviser base
- Mentor other team members, including the Training & Relationship Manager, in both business development and marketing ideas and strategies
- Be a key source of market sentiment and competitor information
- Maintain your knowledge of economic matters and industry issues
- Play a key role in the accuracy and planning of key clients in the in-house CRM
- Contribute to the development of the Netwealth business as deemed appropriate
About you;
- You have prior experience in a sales leadership and business development role, preferably in the platform space
- You are an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
- You have strong influencing, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- You are self-motivated with excellent time management & organisational skills
- You can work autonomously but also love collaborating with others
- You have a curious and agile mindset and an ability to adapt to change
- You are passionate about providing outstanding service to your customers
- You have a demonstrated technical knowledge of the platform market and the financial services industry
