The opportunity

As the Risk and Compliance Manager - Technology you will provide support and guidance on all matters related to Technology and Data Risk Management across Netwealth.  Reporting in the GM of Risk Enablement and Innovation, you will work directly with key stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with the Technology Department at Netwealth.   

You will ensure that all technology streams are aligned with the organisations risk management framework and compliance requirements.

Key tasks include:

  • Supporting the development of risk management strategies
  • Conducting risk and compliance assessments
  • Check, challenge and oversee risk and compliance via Line2 assurance reviews
  • Manage and escalate risk and compliance issues and incidents
  • Implementing best practices across technology, infrastructure and operational processes
  • Prepare analysis, reports, dashboards and recommendations for Executives and key stakeholders

About you

We are looking for an experienced Technology Risk and Compliance Manager who excels in providing proactive and solution-oriented support to their stakeholders.  Ideally you have experience:

  • Relevant experience in the banking, financial services or financial technology sectors
  • Experience providing assurance to information security and technology resilience
  • Risk Assessment and Management
  • Experience working with regulatory requirements including CPS234, CPG245, CPS231, CPS232
  • Incident Management
  • Security Protocol Implementation
  • Strong communication and engagement, including regulatory documentation
  • Line 2 Assurance activities
